Crosby Child Profiles

Tim is a 6 year old boy living in the Crosby area.  He is currently living with his mother and her boyfriend.  He does have some contact with his father.  He is a high energy child that is funny and very out going.  He would love to learn how to swim in the big pool.  His mother doesn’t have a car so he does not have the ability to get out and do things.  He loves riding his bike and playing in mud puddles and his favorite food is apple oatmeal.  He would need a person that is high energy with a lot of patients. 

James is a 9 year old boy.  He was the best reader in is class in 3^rd grade, according to James.  He is an outgoing, sensitive, active and smart boy.  He is living with his mother, her boyfriend and 3 other brothers.  He has not seen his father in over 2 years and would like to get out and do guy stuff.  James LOVES football.  He is your typical 9 year old boy who wants to grown up and be a professional football player.  He likes to eat Italian cheesy bread and would like to be matched with either a couple or a man. 

Mark is an older brother to James.  He is going into 6^th grade and loves to read.  Unlike his brother James, Mark is more laid back.  When asked what he wants to be when he grows up Mark said “a Lawyer or a Professional football playerJ”.  He would like to go fishing and learn how to water-ski.  Mom works nights so the boys do not have the ability to do a lot of things.  They have been given a lot of responsibility for young boys and want to get out and do some fun stuff.  Mark would do well with a man who likes to be active but also likes a good book, a lawyer would be idealJ. 

Drew is the oldest of three siblings.  The kids have been living with their paternal grandmother for the past 5 years. Drew is a very quite boy but has been diagnosed with ADHD.  He does very well in school academically but struggles with friendships.  The last two years he has been playing hockey and baseball.  Drew is immature for 11 years old and he does get picked on by other kids.  Drew needs a very strong male role model for a mentor.  He is currently getting help through Northern Pines with Power Skills.  He needs an understanding man with a lot of patience. 

Kelli is a middle child, is 10 years old and has also been diagnosed with ADHD.  Kelli is a girly girl who is into makeup, likes to dress up and play with dolls.  If something has to do with arts and crafts, Kelli is ready for it. Her favorite subject in school is art and music.  She has a very high energy level and needs a woman who likes to do girl things, but also likes to be on the go. 

Oliver is the youngest of the three is 8 years old, and has also been diagnosed with ADHD.  He is a boy that loves anything to do with sports.  His grandmother describes him as a “motor-head” and he would like the opportunity to go fishing.  Oliver does deal with anger issues and currently has an IEP for fine motor skills and behavior.   Oliver needs a positive role model in his life to help him make good choices. 

Ellen is an 11 year old girl living in the Ironton area.  Ellen lives with her mom and older brother.  She has been in Kinship for a few years and recently her Kinship Partnership dissolved.  She is a very active girl but also likes to play board games and cooking.  She would like an adult partner that is nice, outgoing and not lazy.  She describes herself as fun, outgoing, active and creative.
