Crosby Child Profiles

Tyler is 6 years old and lives in Deerwood with his mom.  He is a very shy little boy that enjoys Thomas the Train and has quite the collection.  This last summer he did do organized soccer and really enjoyed it.  His mom wants to have a Kinship Partners for him to have a man’s influence in his life.  Tyler has been diagnosed with selective mutism disorder. (A disorder in which an individual cannot or will not speak in specific situations when there is an expectation of conversational speech)  Tyler needs a man with patient.  (Waiting since 10/2010)

Ashley is 7 years old and lives in Crosby with Mom and older sister.  She likes to read and play outside.  She mom says she is a tom boy who doesn't mind getting dirty.  Dad hasn't been in the picture for awhile and mom doesn't drive.  Mom would really like a women who attends church and would be willing to bring Ashley with her.  She is a spit fire who loves doing things creative and active.   (Waiting since 5/2011)

Drew is the oldest of three siblings.  The kids have been living with their paternal grandmother for the past 5 years. Drew is a very quite boy but has been diagnosed with ADHD.  He does very well in school academically but struggles with friendships.  The last two years he has been playing hockey and baseball.  Drew is immature for 11 years old and he does get picked on by other kids.  Drew needs a very strong male role model for a mentor.  He is currently getting help through Northern Pines with Power Skills.  He needs an understanding man with a lot of patience.
