At Kinship Partners our goal is to match kids in need of an adult
role model, a caring volunteer, at no cost to the family. This means
that we do not charge the family of the youth, nor the mentors, any
fee whatsoever.
Kinship Partners works hard to raise funds from diversified sources
to supply this much needed service to the community. We rely largely
on individuals, civic organizations and local businesses as the base
of our financial support. We do not receive any funds from federal,
state, or county entities.
A gift, no matter how large or small, is important to us and will be
used to benefit the children of our area as we continue to match
adult mentors with children, plan activities and programs to enrich
their lives, and provide needed resources for our community.
Your
gift is crucial to our programming. Contact either of the Kinship
Partners’ offices for more information regarding making a tax
deductible gift. Call the Brainerd Kinship office if you would like
to make donation with your Visa or MasterCard.
Contributing to our endowment fund is another means by which you can
support our program. Kinship Partners’ Endowment Fund is set up with
the Brainerd Lakes Area Community Foundation. Donating to our
endowment fund is a means by which you insure that your gift will
not only help now but will make a lasting impact on the future of
our organization. Contact Kinship Partners, the Brainerd Lakes Area
Community Foundation, or your personal professional financial
advisor for more information regarding this type of bequest.
Another way in which a company or an individual can support Kinship
Partners is by donating any of the items on our wish list. By doing
this, you are enabling our operating budget to be used for more
activities for our Kinship kids. We are presently in need of the
following:
