Volunteers needed during
Crow Wing County Fair
Kinship Partners
is once again going to be parking cars in Larco Manufacturing’s
parking lot during the Crow Wing County Fair. This is one of our
annual fundraising events.
Also this year,
we will have an information booth that will be open all week during
the fair. We need your help. It will take several volunteers each
day that week to take care of the car parking and staffing our
booth.
This is a great
community service volunteer opportunity for Adult and Junior
Partners.
The fair
runs from Tuesday, July 29th,
through Saturday, August 2nd.
We will
only park cars Tuesday through Friday from 5 - 9 pm, but we will
have the booth open from 10 am - 10 pm Tuesday through Saturday.
If you are able to help with either
car parking or staffing the booth, please call the 829-4606 or our
toll-free number 1-877-730-5437 and we will schedule you for a
two-hour shift.

Kinship kids at our end of the summer picnic.
We are in need

rulers, notebooks, folders, markers, crayons, and highlighters. New
hygiene items that the kids can use are shampoo, conditioner, soap,

Attention bike riders
Adult Partner David Hill has some wonderful news for
Kinship kids. He has acquired about a dozen kids’ bikes and has
done repairs so they are in good working order. David is offering a
free bike to any Kinship kid in need of a bike. If you do have a
bike that needs minor repairs, he will also repair it free of
charge.
At this time, David has no adult bikes available, but if anyone has
an adult bike they would like to donate, he will take it, repair it,
and make it available to Kinship people, also.
Please contact
David directly if your child needs a bike, has a bike that needs to
be repaired or if you have an adult bike that you are willing to
donate. You can reach him by email at
agyearbook@yahoo.com.
