| Brodie B. is 13-years old and he lives south of
Brainerd with his mom and his mom's boyfriend and his family.
He is in the 8th grade and attends alternative classes. He
was taken out of mainstream school because he was being
oppositional. He also has been diagnosed as ADHD.
Brodie's dad moved out of the state several years ago and it has
been really hard on Brodie. He is somewhat quiet but
becomes more talkative when he gets to know someone.
He really enjoys video games, drawing, card games, bike riding,
bowling and swimming. He would like to have an adult
partner so that he could get out of his house once in a
while and he thinks it would be fun. |
MICHAEL A. is a 10-year old youngster who lives in
the Garrison area. He will be a 5th grader next school year. Michael
lives with his mom, an uncle and two cousins. He loves sports and
especially football and basketball. Michael also likes to watch
sporting events on TV. His other interests include fishing, video
games, swimming, woodworking, snowmobiling and animals (his favorite
animals include dogs, snakes, horses and cats.) Michael’s favorite
subject is gym! Michael has no contact with his dad – dad lives in
Alaska. Michael’s mom is hoping that Michael can be matched with a
positive male role-model. He’s never really had a positive male
adult in his life. |

DRAKE
is 8 years old and recently moved to the Crosby area. He is
enrolled in special ed classes and is a friendly boy who really
enjoys younger children. He is interested in motorcycles, model
cars, swimming, biking and fishing. |
| JAKE
is an 8th grader at Crosby and enjoys waterparks, 4
wheeling and attending sporting events. His recent partnership
ended because his partner moved to the Twin Cities. Jake has some
special needs in school and needs a guy to share activities and give
encouragement. |

| Ryan B. is a 14-year old who lives with his
mom and a younger brother. Ryan had Kinship Partners for
several years but that relationship recently ended. Ryan
misses his partners and is very interested in being matched again.
He loves hunting, fishing, playing board games, riding
four-wheelers, sports, and eating. He is in the 8th grade and
attends a private school. |

DYLAN C. is a 14-year old who lives with his mom and
three sisters in the Pillager area. He is in the 9th grade an+d his
favorite subject is gym. Dylan tends to be quiet and reserved. He
says he becomes much more open once he gets to know someone. Dylan
loves sports, fishing, BMX bike racing, watching sports on TV and
has just recently started hunting. Dylan has no contact with his
father who is in prison. Dylan’s mom wants him to have a positive
male in his life – someone who is there for Dylan when he needs to
talk and someone who will be able to do “guy” activities with him.
Dylan’s partner will need to be someone who is willing to take time
to develop a relationship.

RICK is
a 7th grader and lives in the Fifty Lakes area. He needs a
sensitive male role model and good listener who can expose him to
new activities. Rick has many interests including downhill skiing,
fishing and drawing. He especially likes dogs and does well in
school. Just the right partner will help Rick improve his
self-confidence and social skills. |

ANNA is a busy 11
year old that enjoys nature and animal activities and any other
reason to be outdoors! She and her mom, sister and brother live on
acreage outside of Pine River. Anna had a partner before her move
to Pine River and they spent time gardening, grooming horses and
going out to dinner. Anna is eager to find a new partner who likes
horses and goats!

Zachery B. is a 12-year old 6th grader.
He attends Forestview Middle School. Zachery’s main interests are
sports – football, baseball and basketball are his favorites.
Zachery would like an adult partner because he would like to have a
male figure in his life so he can learn to be a good role model when
he is an adult. Zachery is a likeable kid with a lot of energy. He
lives with his mom and an older sister in the Fort Ripley area. In
addition to sports, Zachery also likes animals, indoor games,
drawing, and fishing. |

LUCY is
a 4th grader at Eagle View Elementary who lives with mom
and her younger sister. She is involved in many activities such as
sports and dance, but due to health issues in the family, needs a
partner to give her some special one-on-one attention. Lucy is slow
to warm up to others, but really enjoys reading books together and
doing quiet activities. Lucy’s partner needs to be sensitive and
realize it may take time to build a relationship.
JACI is
13, in the 8th grade and lives with dad and a younger
sister in Pequot Lakes. She loves to write stories and has a great
imagination. Jaci doesn’t see her mom very often and Dad hopes that
a partner would encourage her to be more active and try new things.
Some other interests include movies, shopping and being on the
computer. She can be a little shy at first, but really wants to
develop a friendship with an adult partner.
TESSA
is Jaci younger sister and is enjoying the 4th grade.
She is outgoing and animated and needs a woman, or perhaps a couple,
to give her an opportunity to do more activities. Tessa really
likes horseback riding and swimming and would like a partner with
pets. She would also enjoy learning more about cooking.
JAKE is
in 11th grade and 16 years old. He hasn’t had much of a
relationship with his dad and really needs a sensitive guy to go
fishing or bowling with him. Jake has great manners and a desire to
work hard. He also has a love for Chinese food and hopes someday to
work with animals. |
