COMMUNITY MENTORING

Kinship Partners is a youth mentoring program.  We match caring, adult, volunteer partners, (mentors), with a child between the ages of 5 – 14, who has common interests.  Adult partners can be individuals, couples or families.

 GROUP ACTIVITIES

Kinship Partners sponsors many educational and social opportunities for children and their adult partners.  These activities range from ice fishing to summer picnics and scavenger hunts.

 COATS FOR KIDS

Coats for Kids is our annual winter outerwear drive.  In partnership with Crystal Cleaners and BL Broadcasting we collect coats, hats, mittens/gloves and boots and distribute them to families in need.

BACK TO SCHOOL

Each year towards the end of the summer Kinship Partners gives out school supplies and personal hygiene items to the Kinship kids.  These items are donated by individuals and businesses in our area.

 MATCH OF THE MONTH

 Each month one of our partnerships, that exemplifies what mentoring is all about, is selected as “Match of the Month”.  Mike Aulie of Sother’s Studio provides a photo of this partnership and it is featured in area newspapers.
