Volunteering...
What Is A A mentor is a trusted adult friend with a long-term, consistent commitment to provide guidance and support to a youth.
We Believe:
Every child deserves a responsible and concerned adult who will
provide guidance and support, help set and accomplish goals, and act
as a positive role model.
Our
Our Vision:
Through positive relationships, these youths will overcome the
difficulties they face to become successful and productive adults.
At Kinship Partners we match volunteer adult partners with a child
from age 5-14, who has common interests.
The partners are encouraged to spend time together each week.
Some of our partners enjoy busy activities such as hiking or
skating. Others prefer
cooking or watching movies.
It’s the time spent together that’s important.
Mentors can be individuals, couples or families.
We offer mentor screening, training and ongoing support
throughout the partnership.
Volunteering only a few hours a month can change a young person's
life.
